In November 2023, Elina entered STUDIO RED ROOF LOFTSOUND with producer/multi-instrumentalist JOVAN DUCRET to arrange, produce & record in 1 day an all analog recording of her new song ‘ON MY SIDE’. This is a one-take, zero editing recording where all instruments and vocals were tracked to tape just like in the old days!
Laivera wrote on her Instagram: ”Tracking this song to tape was such a unique experience! ✨
We had the opportunity to use analog equipment and do everything one take through, instrument by instrument starting from scratch to build an arrangement that works within the same day (alone going through the equipment available was huge – there was A LOT of instruments and equipment there! 😂)
We enjoyed the studio’s warm hospitality (the studio has its own separate artist apartment) surrounded by nature – such an ideal place for creatives to just be and create.”
