‘Brand New Eyes’ EP set for release 30.11.24

Laivera teams up once more with music producer and artist Jovan Ducret in an EP consisting of 6 original tracks that range from the powerful, epic warcry-like track ‘Sword Sharp’ to infectiously energetic and uplifting anthems like ‘RIVER’and ‘I Am The Fire’ without failing to deliver one of the most heart-warming love letters to date in the form of ‘EQUAL’ while laughing at haters with ‘FTH’ and urging the lovers to ‘Be The Light’. This body of work is a pandesia of colours and textures the one different from its next where however everything fits perfectly together.

‘BRAND NEW EYES’ follows the songstress’s second album ‘REVIVAL’ (2022), which was also produced by Ducret and penned by Laivera.

On the album’s direction, Laivera wrote on her Instagram: ‘It seems to me everyone is eager to channel their inner darkness all around… Darkness is so glorified these days. It is as if the world has been given itself permission to openly and proudly enact its lust for (self)destruction. We need LIGHT and WARMTH to balance this out. Let us not forget who we are when the whole world around is trying to tell us we are nothing. Ask yourself whom does it serve for humanity to turn dark. Those who have been doing their perversions in secret want us now to all espouse their darkness and that openly. I say, we shine the christ light even brighter now, then!’
