ELINA'S VOICE STUDIO
Hi, my name is Elina Laivera, I am an awarded singer and songwriter and vocal coach. In the last 5 years alone I have come to coach over 1000 artists! I would be honored to be YOUR coach! I am a Berklee College of Music Certified Specialist on Modern Vocal Styles (with POP and R&B as my specialty).
If you find yourself in Germany, we have the opportunity to work together on your voice and overall performance in my professionally equipped voice studio, which is actually the very music studio I make my own music at.
I have been blessed to learn from some of the best mentors out there such as Jeff Ramsey (Diana Ross, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion), Adriana Balic (Pink), Nikos Spanatis, Cari Cole, Jan Shapiro and others and teaching is something that speaks to my heart.
The joy of accompanying someone in their journey of finding and developing their own, unique voice and strong artistic mindset has fuelled my work as vocal coach teaching in private and state academies, leading international workshops in cooperation with the German State and educating underpriviledged youth with imigrant and refugee background.
Finally since early 2019 I’ve been coaching artists at my own voice academy, in the wonderfully curated spaces of Elina’s Voice Studio.

If you decide to work with me, this plan will be our guide. This way you have from the get go an overview of what we are going to achieve and in what time-frame.

Other info: I work with a holistic approach (including mindset) as I am also a certified meditation coach and trained energy healer but what makes my method so effective is that we never end up straying from efficient, grounded voice technique. Vocal health is in the epicenter as well as connecting to our craft on all levels.
Advice for those looking for a voice coach: Choose to work with someone you feel good being around because the craft of singing is a very personal business and it takes time and a certain level of vulnerability to explore and develop. Also choose to work with someone who is on top of their game vocally and artistically. Having a degree from 10 years back but not having sang a note since then is a big no-no for me regarding vocal coaches. Personally, I am a very much active recording artist with over 15 releases internationally, using my skills and voice on a daily level and educating myself on the latest methods and approaches on the voice.
THE STUDIO
Crafted within the super safe fortress-like walls of an air bunker from the 2nd World War, the studio enjoys large spaces and views over the city’s rooftops. With 4 balcony doors that open to small internal patios, the spaces are blessed with sunlight and clean air throughout the whole day. Originally being a music production studio, the optimally isolated & sound-treated spaces offer all the tools one needs for voice coaching, voice recording, band coaching, songwriting & audio processing. Separate vocal recording booths included.

Since I’ve been working with Elina things have changed immensely. She’s always been taking care of me to not damage the voice and keep it all healthy. If you want to learn and pimp your voice to sing professionally your’re totally at the right point. The mental and vocal benefits of working one-on-one with Elina are indeed fantastic but it is unfair not to mention the stunning results of Elina’s online courses (I took the warm up course recently). The exercises Elina gives on this one are one of a kind. You don’t need 50 exercises to warm up your voice and Elina keeps it compact yet rich, giving you a number of simple exercises and their variations so you choose which ones you like to or use them interchangeably so you won’t get bored! It always took ages for my voice to warm up but now i know why and now i finally know what works for me. Thank you!
